marine Conservation Volunteer (MCV)
The Marine Conservation Volunteer (MCV) program is a short, contribution-focused experience at the Sharklife Field Station. Volunteers support simple, supervised conservation tasks, join guided ocean activities, and gain an authentic introduction to daily life in a marine field station. It’s designed for beginners, gap-year travellers, and students wanting a meaningful but low-pressure way to contribute to ocean conservation.

Training internship (MBTI)
The Marine Biology Training Internship (MBTI) is a structured 4–24 week skills-development program that builds real competence in marine fieldwork, species identification, ecological understanding, and life in the ocean. Interns progress through guided scuba and snorkel sessions, field-skills training, and supervised marine-monitoring activities designed to develop confidence, capability, and professional readiness.

Sharklife Divemaster Trainees expand on the Intern role by taking the lead in underwater surveys. This program prepares you for various aspects of marine research and equips you with the skills and responsibilities of a dive professional, providing a well-rounded foundation to advance your career as a marine scientist.
